Fiat Abarth 850 TC Body now stripped of paint and filler

The 1963 Fiat 850 TC Stradale  Body shell has been completely stripped of all the paint and filler. We had made and fitted a brace to make sure that the body did not distort during the stripping process which would render it useless. It is now ready for repairing, we are going to renew the floor pans, sill panels and inner sills and repair the other areas of rot. Once we have completed the repairs, we will return the shell to have it coated in thermal zinc

  1. Powder coating is the most recent method for applying coatings to surfaces without the use of solvents. The method includes powder components and colorants, as well as thermoplastic and thermoset polymers, aluminum powder, medium density fiberboard, epoxy, and acrylics. Before being flattened and frozen, the sheets are extruded. After that, it's crushed into little pieces and processed to make powder after it's cooled. This kind of surface treatment is often used to give metals a hard finish. Eptex Coating has powder coating kit available.
